Shoreditch loses its edge, say the number crunchers. Time to start-up in another place?

WHAT, TWO DISTRICTS in London are more enterprising than Shoreditch and Hoxton? Yep, Holborn-St Pancras, and Islington South-Finsbury have more small businesses per person than anywhere else in the UK. Hipster heartland ShoHo (aka south Hackney) comes third.

So says a study analysing Office of National Statistics data, anyway

London as a whole is rated the UK’s most entrepreneurial region.

Does it matter? Well, start-ups can be a lonely effort. So find an area where you can share the strain with other self-starters. And if you want to join the rush to rural WFHing, the most entrepreneurial country areas are also in the study.
